However, ongoing renovation work at their home ground, The Cathedral — Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu — has forced the nine-time Nigerian champions to seek an alternative venue for their continental home fixtures.
In 2024, Rangers International played their preliminary-round home matches against U.S. Zilimadjou and Sagrada Esperança at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

The ‘Nest of Champions’, as the Godswill Akpabio Stadium is nicknamed, is CAF-approved, while the Remo Stars Stadium currently has provisional approval from the continental governing body.
Club Confirms Tentative Venue For Continental Campaign
On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, Rangers General Manager, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, informed Completesports.com that the club had adopted the Remo Stars Stadium as their tentative home ground for the competition.
“Our home matches in the 2026/2027 CAF Champions League will be tentatively played at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikene,” Amobi said when asked about Rangers International’s home venue for the CAF interclub competition following the ongoing renovation work at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
