Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and leaders of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) have emphasised the need for collaboration among political leaders and issue-based campaigns as Nigeria prepares for future elections.
Speaking while receiving his Oyo State counterpart, Governor Seyi Makinde, in Bauchi, Mohammed said governance should remain a continuous process of consultation and exchange of ideas among leaders at both the national and sub-national levels to address common challenges.
Mohammed praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his achievements in infrastructure and governance, describing him as a leader whose experience has provided valuable lessons for colleagues across the country.
The governor also noted that discussions among state chief executives frequently centre on improving security and strengthening governance.
In his remarks, the APM presidential candidate and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, said the party was determined to offer Nigerians a credible alternative through grassroots-driven policies and constructive opposition.
Makinde maintained that the country’s current challenges require bold reforms rather than politics as usual, urging citizens to participate actively in shaping Nigeria’s future.
The APM leadership reiterated its commitment to peaceful, issue-based campaigns and called on Nigerians to support efforts aimed at promoting accountable leadership and national development.
